Age suggestions are approximate, and should not be used restrictively. Many youths are fully capable of reading an "adult" book or enjoying a "children's" book, and many books considered to be "youth" books are wonderful reads that should be read by anyone, regardless of age. (Sometimes, I have simply given up altogether and included a really stunning book on two or more lists). Other books are easy enough to read that a very young 'un could get through it with no difficulty, but the subject matter is intended for a much older child or adult. So... be cautious and flexible, and please don't hesitate to challenge my suggestions. With criticism or questions on this, especially, please feel free to email me at greatbooks@greatbooks.iwarp.com.

The "Review" box denotes whether the title in question is one which I myself have reviewed on this site. Naturally, most books have been reviewed somewhere, sometime, by someone; this designates only whether I myself have done so. Suggestions or recommendations (or pleas!) for coming reviews may be sent to greatbooks@greatbooks.iwarp.com and I will be pleased to help, if at all possible.
