Thanks...
First and foremost, I want to thank the Holy and Living God for giving me the ability to read, the ability to write, and the faith to believe in His awesome presence. He is my creator, my first love, and my every inspiration. Hallelujah.
Mom... thank you for spending so many years of your life teaching me to read, write, live, and make moral judgments. I love you. Dad... thank you for always being an encouragement, and for those great packages you send me now that I'm no longer at home.
For my many awesome teachers: Miss Catherine, for your patience, and for teaching me to love learning; Miss Becky, for taking me in as an "adopted daughter" and for those nine great years spent surviving Cecchetti; Dr. Hube, for being there to bother all the time, and for all the wonderful sarcastic comments that brighten up my life; Dr. Mac, for letting me do as much extra work as I want; Prof. Verville, for letting me stay late after lab so many times, and for showing me that Science, too, can be fun; Mr. Arentsen, Mrs. Biggs, and Miss Koonce, for letting me cry whenever I need it, yet always understanding.
Avis and Mary... for *always* being there; Rachel, for the fun of the honey pot; Jessi, for letting me borrow your Star Wars videos and getting *me* hooked, too (bad girl!); Juliana, for all those days we spent giggling in the locker room at KAWC... good luck at college; Katie S. for smiling when you dance.
Yolanda, James, Mr. Anthony, and Mr. Xie, thank you for giving me a glimpse into the technique involved in playing one of the most beautiful musical instruments ever invented. You rock my world; it *still* makes me cry with its beauty sometimes. And Jacqueline du Pre, Julian Lloyd Webber, and Yo-Yo Ma for recording said instrument. Wow.
And then there are the college folks... Debra, for putting up with my hairbrush for an entire semester; Sarah B. for not being afraid to walk to breakfast beside a "pregnant bowling pin"; Nathan B. for the chats and that one fun all-nighter with the Mountain Dew; Joy, for being the "best RA I've ever had" for an entire year; Nelson, for the canoe ride at Twin Lakes freshman semester; Elizabeth S. for putting me on your Blockbuster membership; Laura for reading all my freshman comp. papers at 2 and 3 am; Daylan for being a good example in your studying habits... hopefully it'll rub off more in later years since I still struggle with procrastination.
The insane bunch of college folks... you know who you are... Rebecca R. for putting up with me even when you don't feel social, and for always letting me vent to you when I can to no one else; Rebecca L. for those great afternoon teas and chats; Katya for the 2 a.m. chats that got so deep & cool; Elizabeth for helping show me the magic of the pickleweasel and the marshmallows; Jason for being a super big brother in Christ and for the many hugs you've given me; Jason and Dani (together) for giving me an example of a truly godly relationship that I can try to emulate when I have one of my own; Knox for carrying me back to the dorm the night my back really hurt; Sam for your honesty and for letting me cry on your shoulder so often; Benjamin for your understanding and Biblical nature; Benjamin & Dawn for being another rockin' couple, (esp. Dawn who actually put the light back in Ben's eyes).
To the rest of you, thanks. I can't enumerate you all yet, but I will soon. Till then, know that you are awesome and I love you *so* much.
Take care!
