This is just another site with recommended reading books. I can't vouch for all her books, but she's got something good here, and certainly her list is longer than mine.

And this list I *do* heartily recommend. It's a Christian list of recommended Science Fiction and fantasy books, most of which I have not mentioned on here, but most of which I have read and enjoyed heartily.
The Great Books program has for many years offered an excellent survey of classical and other great literature, in a ten-year reading program. This site also presents some of the works offered by the Great Books program in a more convenient format.
This Reading List for College Bound Students suggests a large number of excellent literary classics (as well as some of the driest books I've ever read). Read, enjoy, and henceforth feel duly enlightened.
Helpful Reference
The Project Gutenberg site offers downloads of many, many classics (all out of copyright, so it's perfectly legal!) for your own literary delights.
The Internet Archive offers an index to lots of great old websites. See the early versions of your favorite net hangouts!
